Hello! And thank you for visiting my website. I am regularly dissatisfied with how this website looks and am currently
working on a redesign. This is basically how it going to look for now. I am in the process of editing and reformatting documentation
of the work and am slowly adding them to this page. My goal is to have this site present what I've been working on lately, but also show
work of the last decade (!!!!!). I want the site to be clean and unobtrusive and attractive. Hopefully you find it compelling. And
as always, I love feedback: ruslan.trusewych@gmail.com.
I haven't written anything I feel comfortable sharing with anybody in a really long time. Ideally, this space will function
blogishly and without reservation or categorical distinctions. Most recently, I've been working on a project that confuses
the distinction between what I can call my artwork and the activity that occurred as ruSalon http://www.rusalon.org
Also, I've been making my way through Thomas Nagel's "Mind and Cosmos".
So far, I'm interested in his use of the concept "intelligibility." What can we infer about the nature of our minds and about the world
because our minds are even capable of making sense of the world. Nagel rejects the rather limp claim that physical laws "allowed" for
consciousness to develop. Rather, he claims that physical laws NECESSITATED the development of a consciousness capable of comprehending them.
My intuition is to analogize this structure to art. :)
